Alabama vs. Oklahoma: Box score, stats, game summary and more ft. Jackson Arnold

Alabama’s aspirations to secure a position in the College Football Playoff have significantly diminished, while Oklahoma’s campaign has been revitalized following their victory over the No. 7 Tide. Oklahoma managed to score just before halftime, taking the lead and ultimately winning the game 24-3.

No. 7 Alabama (8-3, 4-3 in the SEC) had been on a three-game winning streak since their defeat to Tennessee. Despite recent setbacks in the SEC, the Tide appeared to be in a favorable position for the CFP; however, their prospects have now become uncertain. Conversely, Oklahoma (6-5, 2-5) not only achieved an unexpected victory but also secured bowl eligibility.

Although Alabama opened the scoring, Oklahoma’s defense consistently pressured Jalen Milroe throughout the match. The Alabama quarterback faced challenges, while Oklahoma established a significant advantage in rushing yards. Both Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold and running back Xavier Robinson surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark.

Robinson scored just before halftime and again early in the second half, allowing Oklahoma to seize control of the game. The Oklahoma defense sealed the victory with a pick-six by Kip Lewis late in the third quarter.
